At the forefront of the avant-garde, Hans Richter (1888-1976)—Dadaist, radical provocateur, surrealist painter, pioneering filmmaker, and visionary educator—was a major yet largely unknown creative force in 20th-century art. This film reveals a committed visionary artist, a catalyst and a facilitator who understood the power of creating a communal work of art with great social significance.
